This sums up Carlos Fuentes perfectly! He’s definitely a wild boy . . . and likes it.

Both Kiara and Carlos both can’t get each other off their minds. Even if they want to get each other off their minds, they can’t!

This is a song that reminds me how Carlos feels when he wants to be with Kiara after the Frisbee game. He wants to take her away from her old boyfriend and show her what it’s like to be with him!

4. Live Like We’re Dying by Kris Allen
This song reminds me of Carlos when he’s in the car in the rain telling Kiara he loves her. It takes so much for him to admit his love, but he has to live for today and worry about tomorrow later.

5. ¿Quien Le Va a Decir? by Luis Fonsi
I just love this song and its beat. It’s about lies and heartbeats and I listened to it while I wrote Rules of Attraction.

on the mountain when Kiara is studying and Carlos is one pissed off guy

for when Brittany is at the beach with Colin, and all she can think about is Alex

Kiara would like Carlos to stop and take a look around and enjoy life for a minute.

9. Single Ladies by Beyonce
This is just a great song about either committing to the girl or stop being upset that she’s with someone else.  I think Carlos learns how to commit to Kiara by the end of Rules of Attraction and in the future, he will definitely “put a ring on it.”

This reminds me of being serenaded by the lead singer Steven Rothstein on the day we shot the Rules of Attraction book trailer.

This is a song that reminds me how Carlos feels for Kiara. He knows her better than anyone else and just looking at her is all he needs.

the theme for Carlos as he contemplates going with Keno and leaving his life in Colorado behind

This song summarizes how Carlos falls for Kiara because of her beautiful soul.

This song is about the book’s ending. No matter what happens, Kiara and Carlos can’t escape the love they have for each other.

Alexander F. Rodriguez, the actor who plays Alex Fuentes in the Rules of Attraction book trailer, was the groom in this video. I couldn’t resist adding it to this playlist!
